Fulbright Greater Los Angeles participated in the Annual Interfaith Leaders Hanukkah Celebration in downtown Los Angeles, an event dedicated to unity, dialogue, and shared commitment to peace across faith traditions. The celebration brought together interfaith leaders and community members under the theme “United in Light, Together We Shine.”
GLAC Fulbrighters were invited to participate in and speak at the citywide Hanukkah lighting and were formally recognized as co-leaders of the interfaith group Daughters of Abraham, which brings together Jewish, Muslim, and Christian leaders in sustained dialogue and collaboration. The recognition highlighted Fulbright alumni leadership in fostering understanding across religious and cultural communities.
The evening served as a powerful affirmation of the Fulbright mission, emphasizing how international education and cultural exchange extend beyond borders and into local civic life. This acknowledgment of GLAC Fulbrighters’ leadership opens the door to deeper partnerships in the future and advances a shared vision of a peaceful and cooperative world strengthened through intercultural engagement.
