Fulbright Greater Los Angeles welcomed alumni, visiting scholars, and friends to Santa Monica Beach for a relaxing Beach Day & Picnic, bringing the Fulbright community together for an afternoon of sunshine, conversation, and connection along the California coast.

Guests gathered for a potluck picnic, sharing food and stories while enjoying beautiful summer weather in a casual and welcoming setting. The event provided an opportunity for both longtime members and new Fulbrighters to connect, strengthen friendships, and build new relationships across disciplines, cultures, and exchange experiences.

As part of Fulbright Greater Los Angeles’s ongoing commitment to fostering community and cultural exchange, gatherings like the Beach Day & Picnic create space for meaningful connections beyond academic and professional settings. By bringing people together in an informal environment, the chapter continues to strengthen its vibrant network of globally minded alumni and friends.
